A cross platform GUI API for developing applications.
Gtk# is a .NET binding for Gtk+ the API used to create graphical applications on Linux which has now been ported to Windows and MacOS X.
The toolkit has a strong focus on internationalization by supporting left to right and right to left languages and at the core of the design there is an HTML-like layout engine that allows the same code to run on different languages without having to touch the user interface.
By using the Glade GUI designer you can create declarative XML files that describe the user interface without having to hand-code your programs. |
